# Save a word

> Add vocabulary to your personal library.

Saving a catalog word puts it in your library so you can favorite it, add it to collections, and practice it later.

**1. Look up the word**

Open [Search](https://app.vocabmonster.com/search) and search. See [Search for words](/help/using-the-app/search-for-words.md).

**2. Open the word details**

Choose a result to view definitions, examples, and related tabs.

**3. Save to your words**

Choose **Save**. The Word of the Day on Home can be saved the same way after you open its details.

**4. Find it later**

Open [Library](https://app.vocabmonster.com/library). Free accounts can save 50 words. See [Plans and limits](/help/account/plans-and-limits.md).
