# What happens at a plan limit

> What Vocab Monster blocks when you reach a word, collection, pack, Explore, or credit limit.

When you reach a plan cap, Vocab Monster keeps the content you already have. New actions that would go past the cap are blocked until you free a slot, wait for credits to refresh, or [change your plan](/help/account/change-your-plan.md).

## Saved words, collections, and packs

On Free you can save **50** words, create **5** collections, and create **1** pack. If you try to add another, the save is refused and you are pointed to Pricing. Current usage is on Account → Billing.

Learner and Courses have unlimited saved words, collections, and packs.

## Explore

Browsing Explore is available on every plan. **Saving or practicing** an Explore collection requires Learner or Courses. Free accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of starting that session.

## AI credits

When monthly and purchased credits are both at zero, AI games cannot deliver new prompts. You will see that you are out of AI credits. Non-AI games keep working. Credits return when the monthly allotment refreshes, you upgrade, or you [buy a credit pack](/help/account/buy-ai-credits.md).
