# Cancel a subscription

> Manage recurring billing.

Cancel recurring billing from Account → Billing. Access stays active through the current period end.

**1. Open Account → Billing**

Go to [Account → Billing](https://app.vocabmonster.com/account#billing).

**2. Choose Cancel subscription**

Review the current period end date shown in the confirmation.

**3. Confirm**

You will not be charged again. Paid features remain until the period ends, then the account returns to Free limits. Existing saved words stay; new saves may be blocked if you are over Free caps.

**4. Payment methods and invoices**

Use **Manage Billing** for the Stripe portal. See [Payment details and invoices](/help/account/payment-details-and-invoices.md).
